" क्या गुज़रा है "

धूप ढल गयी, तन ग़ुज़रा है,

शाम ढल गयी , अरमान ग़ुज़रा है,

रात के साथ, एक सपना गुज़रा है,

नींद के साथ चैन भी, आंखों से गुज़रा हैं,

बड़ी बातें, बड़े लोग, समय के साथ गुज़रे है,

आंखे बंद कर ली, तो कुछ यादें गुज़री है,

ज़िन्दगी भीे, पल मे गुज़र जाएगी,

तेरा क्या गुजरा है? मेरा क्या नहीं ,

अतीत बिता है , लम्हे गुजरे है,

बहारो जाने के साथ, खुशबुए गुजरी है,

पतझड़ों के साथ , तन्हाईया गुजरी है,

अभी इसी रास्ते से , एक चिड़िया गुज़री है,,

English translation;

what have you lost?

The sunlight has gone down,body is tired,
The evening has set in, hope is lost,
With the night, a dream has lost,

peace with sleep, has passed through the eyes,

Big issues, big people, have passed over time,
when eyes are closed, some memories have passed,
Life will also pass, in a moment,

What have you lost? nothing is spared for me either.

The past is spent, the time has passed,
With the passing of spring, the scent has passed,
With falls, loneliness has passed,
Just this way, a sparrow has passed..
